Our History

SpotOn Restaurant opened its first location in December 2011, in Salt Lake City, Utah, under the management of the Smith Family.

After the great success they experienced in Salt Lake City, the Smiths decided to open a second location in the West Valley, where they've proudly served their community since 2015.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is to provide our customers with excellent food, drinks, and exceptional service with an atmosphere that makes guests feel right at home.

Each day we strive to provide a great customer experience by working to enhance our menu offerings and elevating our service to new levels of excellence. 

Our Team

Michael Jones

Chef

Michael found his passion for cooking when he moved to his grandparent's farm in the South of Texas, back in 2000. His cooking skills and the freshness of the ingredients found on the farm, gave him the idea of a one of a kind restaurant in Utah.

Tina Cheung

Chef

Tina is our head chef in the kitchen. With over 30 years experience, she is an expert in cooking luxurious meals. Her specialty, the creme brulee, delights all customers that walk through Restaurant General's door.
